November 2018 – Our delivery times are between 1 to 3 working days. If you need any specific day, please, contact us to check availability, If you’re ordering via our website once we have processed your order, we will email across a confirmation of your order with the estimated delivery week included.

Delivery Charge Per Drop

We deliver Customer orders by road in England as per the Postcode areas listed below at the flat rate charges shown. For delivery to other areas please note that some postcodes are outside our delivery areas, we require that you, please, contact us to request a quotation.

Web Orders/Quotations Out of the Normal Delivery Area

Please note that for Customers outside our delivery area can contact us to receive a quotation for delivery. Is important that you contact us with all quantities and items required.

We are also able to deliver to Wales and London area, contact our team for more information, and quotation.

Delivery & Charges

Delivery charges vary depending on your postcode and cannot be refunded unless the goods you ordered were delivered damaged or faulty.

How Do We Deliver?

We typically deliver goods using our own vehicles ranging from 3 tonne flat bed trucks to articulated trucks and trailers. Our slabs and scoops are delivered by hand, so make sure to have space to accommodate your goods. All this informations you will also receive after the purchase.

If access to your delivery address is restricted, please let us know when speaking to the delivery team.

We are unable to place materials inside buildings such as sheds or garages, due to the increased risk of damage to property when manoeuvring the forklift.  We are also unable to transport products through a property or to back gardens.

Standard deliveries using a lorry will only include one member of Express timber wood staff.

Our drivers will make every effort to deliver the goods as close as possible to the desired destination. If that is not possible due to road surface or other conditions, our drivers are instructed to unload the goods beside, or close to, the vehicle on firm ground.

If you are concerned this leaves your goods in an unsecured location, please inform our head office transport team as soon as reasonably possible on info@expresstimber.co.uk to discuss an alternative delivery time, when you can ensure you have arranged for someone to help move your goods to a secure location.

How Long after You Place an Order Can You Expect Delivery?

We aim to deliver your goods to you within 1 – 3 working days of accepting your order.  If you have a specific deadline please talk to one of our team members info@expresstimber.co.uk

We recommend you do not plan your installation date until the product has been delivered.

Do You Have to Be in When We Deliver?

Not necessarily, if you are happy for us to leave the goods.

Please note that once the goods have been delivered to your premises, ownership and liabilities arising from ownership transfers from us to you.

Delivery Notifications

We will advise your approximate delivery date/time by Email. If after a delivery notification you are unable to receive a delivery, please inform our head office transport team as soon as reasonably possible on info@expresstimber.co.uk to discuss alternative arrangements.
